Where: 144260 338th Avenue West

Join North Country Sporting Dogs for a special seminar with Liberty Canine! The seminar focuses on core dog training principles that apply across all training methods. Rather than promoting one specific approach, it aims to strengthen participants’ existing methods by providing well-rounded knowledge. It covers modern dog training techniques along with hands-on practice, explores the pros and cons of reward-based and pressure-based systems (including combining them). and teaches how to use multiple tools, communicate clearly with dogs, and manage behaviour effectively.

  • Participants will receive access to 10 online lessons designed to help prepare you for the weekend. These lessons will introduce foundational principles so you can arrive with a clear understanding of the material we will be building on during the clinic. A direct access link will be sent via email once your registration is confirmed.

  • The day starts with theory and principles, followed by demonstrations and hands-on practice. End the evening with a BBQ, bonfire, and relaxed conversation, along with a Q&A session diving deeper into the day’s lessons.

  • We will spend the day in the field putting the theory learned into practice. Through hands-on training and guided exercises, participants will work through practical scenarios that reinforce the principles discussed and help build clarity and confidence in their training approach.
